Giveaway #2: Bringing Up Boys

In honor of my one-year "blogoversary," I'm giving away another book. This time, it's a hardcover copy of Bringing Up Boys by Dr. James Dobson.

If you have boys or grandsons, you need to read this book! I read it before I ever had my first child (a boy), and I've benefited from it greatly. You won't find any politically correct nonsense in here - just good, old-fashioned advice on making your boy into a man.

I enjoyed reading the humorous anecdotes throughout the book, too. Boys (and men) can be so funny!

If you'd like me to put your name into the hat for this book, please leave a comment on this thread, as well as a means of contacting you. Also, I'll need to restrict this giveaway to U.S. mailing addresses so it doesn't cost a small fortune to send it. :)

Keep an eye out for the winner of the last book (Organizing from the Inside Out) later tonight!

Edited to add: I'll draw the winner Thursday night!

I've read this book by Dobson...or maybe I listened to it on audio. Either way, I borrowed it from the library and would like to have it as a keeper. Thanks for your give aways.

I've not read this book yet. I'd love to add it to my home library. Thank you for your inspiring blog! You've motivated me to shop more often at our local thrift store.

This sounds like a good idea!! Maybe I'll try it sometime to see if I can't "get rid" of some of the books I am finished with. I have a really hard time parting with books though!! I am hoping and praying that God gives us children, and a boy sure would be nice!! I have no idea when God will choose to bless us, or how, but I am trusting Him to fulfill one of my heart's desires as He has promised to do.

I have heard of this book. I would love to have a copy. I have three boys ages 5, 8 and 9. I have been struggling lately as to how to raise them. They're rowdy and fun and I don't want to break their spirit, just have a little more peace in my home :)

Thanks for the chance to win!
