My $15 Classic Sizzix alphabet set!

I just got back from picking up my alphabet, so I thought I'd share a few pictures with you. I'm extra excited because the lady I bought it from said she'll be listing more dies in the next few days! I think I'm in trouble! :) But at 90% off, it can't be beat!
This is another of the complete sets - uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation that retails for $150. A few online stores have it on sale for $90, but it's still a huge savings at $15.

See the shadows to the left? It makes a neat effect (see below).

And as you can see from this picture, using this alphabet is going to require a mini Xyron machine. There's no other way I can imagine adhering these to anything since they're quite small (about 5/8" high). I'm very happy with the size, though, since Nouveau (my previous alphabet "steal") is a bit big for cards. Now I have a set for cards as well as a set for scrapbook page titles and larger crafts like personalized plaques.

Great deal on the alphabet. I used to have some of the Sizzix alphabets and instead of using the mini X Xyron machine. I used tweezers and the Tombow liquid glue.. you only need a small amount and it works great. I still use this method on all the letters/shapes I cut out on the Cricut. Walmart sells some Scotch brand glue in the craft dept, it too has a pointed end and you only need a small amount of it.

Thanks for the tip, Pam! I might have to get some of that because I'm pretty stingy with my Xyron adhesive (since it's so pricey), and these letters will probably end up wasting a good deal of adhesive - you know, around the letters where you can't fit anything else. :)
